1What is the difference between the PULSE & the PULSE PRO systems?

2Are there different sizes?

Yes, only for the leg attachments.

The arm & hip attachments come in one standard size for all athletes.

3What are the different leg/boot sizes?

We carry two widths of leg attachments, regular & power.
Power sizes are wider to provide a roomier fit for our larger athletes.
Our Regular Width Standard Boot is ideal for 85% of our athletes.

4What does the NormaTec App do?

Pair your NormaTec PULSE 2.0 Series device with your smartphone to unlock the ultimate athlete recovery experience.

5Can I take my NormaTec on a plane?

Yes, portable electronic devices containing lithium metal or lithium ion cells or batteries (watches, calculators, cameras, mobile phones, laptops, camcorders etc.) with batteries (must not exceed 2 g for lithium metal or 100 Wh for lithium ion) can be carried by passengers or crew for personal use only.

The control unit should be carried in carry-on baggage. If a device is carried in checked baggage, measures must be taken to prevent unintentional activation and to protect it from damage. The device must be completely switched off (not in sleep or hibernation mode).

6What conditions would prevent me from using a NormaTec?

Do not use NormaTec if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Acute pulmonary edema
  • Acute thrombophlebitis
  • Acute congestive cardiac failure
  • Acute infections
  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
  • Episodes of pulmonary embolism
  • Wounds, lesions, infection, or tumors at or near the site of application
  • Where increased venous and lymphatic return is undesirable
  • Bone fractures or dislocations at or near the site of application
